Be Sporty, adventurous ... Active

Nordic Walking + Running

Nordic walking is all the rage as a form of exercise and it is just as ideally suited to absolute sport novices as it is to experienced athletes. Few other sports are as effective while, at the same time, being free of risks and simple for everyone to pick up. This gentle endurance sport is, furthermore, easy on the joints and, thanks to the use of poles, it offers an excellent full-body workout. Alongside trails with such evocative names such as the “Anglers’ Run” and the “Root Track”, runners can also use the “Finnenbahn” woodchip trail in Seefeld which is ideal for training coordination and endurance. The arena can be used not only during the summer months, but also in winter when large sections of the trail network are cleared and groomed to cater for the needs of Nordic walkers and runners.
